We are slowly moving towards a resumption of cadet activities. A cleaning regime and materials are being put in place at our HQ. Staff should be able to go on site in ten days time.

Our next Squadron activity is a short briefing for all cadets at 7 30 pm on Tuesday 11 August 2020.There will be an opportunity for cadets to suggest activities for the future.Fg Off Forbes will send out an invitation.A letter has been sent to all cadets .

The squadron instagram account has been set up at 2312Sqn and is now available to join and use.

Cpl Bailey has taken the Air Navigation exam and passed as part of his master cadet qualification.

The winners of the uniform photo competition are Cpl Bailey and Cadet Isles.

The Squadron has started to receive certificates for cadets who have completed their Leading Senior and Master Cadet

Classification Exams.The certificates will be presented on our return to Squadron Parades. There are still some cadets who could complete their classification on ultilearn. They all count towards a BTEC in Aviation Studies .Any problems logging on to the system contact the CO by e mail

The top score in the fun quiz was 44 CWO Woodley  closely followed by Cpl Tuckwell 42 Sgt Cook 41 and Cadet Iles 39. Our next event will be Tuesday 21 July 2020 at 1930. All staff and cadets will be invited.

Congratulations to Plt Off Forbes who has completed two years in that rank. She has been promoted to Flying Officer.

Her efforts on behalf of the cadets to take them to events and get them involved in all the activities RAFAC offers have been most appreciated.

Cpl Tuckwell managed the best cadet score in the fun activity on 9 June 2020. CI Johnsons the best overall score but there were two of them. It was great to see some junior cadets taking part .The next on line event is on 30 June 2020 at 7.30pm it will be a mix of activities followed by NCOs meeting.

Where is this ? photo competition was won by CI Hussey who identified the place RAF Cranwell and every cadet but one. The photo was taken at camp in 1997.

Sgt Cook wins the first Squadron Corona Virus Competition with a paper flying model looking much like a Typhoon.

- Well done Sgt Cook who is now a Master Cadet having passed all her ultilearn exams. She will also get a BTEC certificate in Aviation Studies. 

The Squadron will be having competitions that all cadets can enter  .They are simple to take part in details on facebook . The first one is to make a paper plane and fly it .Prizes to be awarded on our return to Squadron

There are lots of activities on the Air Cadet Portal for cadets to see and do whilst we are in lockdown. All cadets are welcome to sign in and make use of the activities offered.

F/Sgt Waddy completed 12 hours flying at Dundee on the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme .Weather prevented her from going solo .CWO Woodleys planned course has been postponed due to Coronavirus.

 24 March 2020-The latest instruction from HQ Air Cadets is that all face to face Air Cadet activities will cease until 31 August 2020 . The squadron website and facebook pages will be updated with any further news.
